Tale
A modern-day tale of the pursuit of fortune in the world of West Texas oil rigs. A landman, at least one who works in the oil industry, will act as a go-between between exploration companies and landowners. Typically, a landman’s job is to negotiate and finalize agreements with landowners with mineral rights to lease those rights to the company they represent.

Essentially, they manage the land and secure leases so that oil and gas can be drilled. Like a foreman on a construction site, they build roads, build worker quarters (human camp), set up drilling equipment, and drill their own well, especially in remote locations. They are also partly fixers, problem solvers, and enablers.
Because these characters are HORRIBLE
Who wrote the characters for Daughter and Mother/Wife? No 17 year old girl talks to her father like that. It’s extremely embarrassing and awkward.
Maybe that’s to balance out the creep factor in her lines?
Not only does she not act like a teenager around her father, she looks about 10 years too old to be 17. The mother/wife is insufferable and has an attitude that makes me skip her parts. Is there a woman who is actually likable and doesn’t act like a sexy idiot?
