Charles, a retired man, gets a new lease on life when he answers an ad for a private investigator and becomes the subject of a secret investigation in a nursing home. Michael Schurt in the film "A Man On The Inside" after watching the Chilean documentary «The Mole Agent.» He says, "The Mole Agent" The documentary is powerful because it evokes something remarkably similar in people of all ages, ethnicities, and genders, and I would describe that feeling very succinctly: «I have to call mom.» In our show, we tried to do something similar in tone: Basically, does our show contribute to the feeling of calling mom?
I really liked it!
What I expected was a clichéd comedy about someone’s undercover mission, crazy antics, and so on. Instead, we got a series about a man who not only helped others, but also helped himself heal from the loss of his wife.
worth it, because he wanted to see how it was done – who stole it etc
This great series wasn’t full of cheeky laughs and corny lines, I felt emotional in certain parts because of the way the themes were handled – As a resident with memory problems. While it wasn’t so serious that it made me feel depressed or bored watching the episodes, it still made me watch the series.
The acting was great, the filming and camerawork; the locations were beautifully done
I really hope they do another season & a great mix of laughs, emotions, script, locations and cast, as they did in Charles’ later detective style adventures, as they did in this one.
